    As a Gloster man I'd like to point out the following stats:

    Expensively assembled Surrey batting line-up numbers 2 to 5, combined runs: 7.

    Gloster overseas superstar signings Ian Butler and James Franklin (total cost £28 and a couple of cans of Blackthorn) combined bowling figures: 6.1 - 0 - 21 - 4.
