Injuries they never used to get

Mitchell Johnson won't be at the Rosebowl tomorrow. He's missing the England v Australia ODIs after his elbow was infected by a new tattoo.

Can't wait to see it though. Surely there's only two things you ever get tattooed on your elbow: A spider's web on the outside of it, or a hinge on the inside.

Given that they no longer play the Smokers vs Non-Smokers fixture, why not replace it with a new one: Tattooed vs Non-Tattooed. Might not be a bad game...

  1. Having the incorrect bat can cause more injuries than you expect. make sure you have one that fits you properly! A decent Cricket Bat is essential!

  2. This is turning into Gentlemen v Players, innit? How about lager versus red wine...

  3. Rob Key could captain the Tattooed ones - there'd be KP, Trego, Baz McCullum, a Harmison, Fred, Michael Clark and of course Boycott amongst others

  4. I didn't realise it was a new tatto that gave him the infection. Goddammit! If we lose this series to England, I'm gonna have to beat him up now.

  5. Yup I reckon the Tattooed XI would be pretty decent, although they'd probably be playing against Sachin, Ruler etc - maybe even Warnie?
