What was Flintoff drinking when he wrote that? He was a major part of previous England teams who couldn't even bat for 3 sessions.
I wouldn't write Swann off yet either. Yet again he was let down by the batsmen.
How does Agnew think he would have bowled had England posted a respectable 1st innings total?
If he could have bowled to a more attacking field, who knows?
I love Aggers' comment about Swann - because the media has been laying the pressure on him quite thick of late.
I also wouldn't write Swann off yet, though. It's the Gabba where spin often plays second fiddle to quicks. I think you'll see a resurgent Swanny at Adelaide and he's gonna love Sydney.
